Simon Amstell On Your Tellybox

The end of Popworld (version 1.0) signalled a sad day in my household. Simon Amstell and Miquita Oliver were a great presenting team, funny and sarcastic and generally excellent.

Life got cold when they announced they were leaving the show to pursue their own individual projects (Amstell's stand-up comedy and Oliver's descent into much less funnyness on T4).

But now Amstell's back and taking the reigns of Never Mind The Buzzcocks from Mark Lamarr!! Hurrah!

It's like he's graduated Popworld and now beginning the world of adult work at NMTB. He did present a one-off show when Lamaar was 'on a break' and was hilarious, half-mocking and half-loving ex-Blazin' Squad member Kenzie.

I can't wait until the new series, I love that Amstell man!
