I felt, that in my capacity as both contributor and writer for Lashmag and Lashblog, that it was time to perform a public service. I have decided to use this new found power and social voice to give some shameless but morally righteous advertising to the finest cult sketch show America may ever have produced.

Over here, we have to put up with the patchy Little Britain and animated works like Monkeydust and Modern Toss, both of which also fall into that inconsistent category.

Mr Show however is what you should all be watching, absorbing and being inspired by. Even now, more than five years after being cancelled by HBO, it is way ahead of its time and deserves your immediate attention.

All three, unimpeachable seasons are available on Region 1 DVD and I know you've all got multi-region players so don't you go using that excuse. If your excuse in money, then just stop eating for a day or two then go back to food after Mr Show arrives. You won't regret.
