You are soo BUSTED
THERE are two people with a lot of explaining to do after the Kerrang! awards on Thursday night.


Wobble forward a very hungover EMMA GRIFFITHS and an even more hungover CHARLIE SIMPSON.

It would appear that, with all the free booze on offer, they forgot who they were supposed to be going out with.

They spent the night with their hands all over each other, canoodling in front of stunned rockers at the awards, helping each other up off the pavement on the way out and then smooching in a stairwell at a hotel afterwards.

Nothing wrong with that, you might think.

Except for the fact Charlie used to be in BUSTED with MTV presenter Emma’s boyfriend MATT WILLIS.

Oh yes — and Charlie is meant to be going out with long-term girlfriend Camilla Smith.

At the bash Emma presented an award for Best British Band to the LOSTPROPHETS.

But with a twinkle in her eye, she told me afterwards: “I wanted to get up on stage and say to Charlie that his new band FIGHTSTAR had won. But it was the Lostprophets.

“Charlie is great.

“We’re really good mates. We’ve known each other for years.”

Charlie then told me: “I love Emma, she’s a great girl.”

Hmm, well I’m sure that’s what Matt thinks too.

After a lethal ‘dentist’s chair’ dose of Jägermeister, Charlie fell over in the street and let his hands wander over Emma as she helped him up. I’m sure Matt won’t be pleased when he sees my pictures. They then moved on to a secret after-show bash at the trendy K West hotel.

An onlooker said: “It was about 1am. They were both hammered but were cuddled up in a corner together whispering.

“They were very touchy-feely. Charlie stroked Emma’s face and tried to go in for the kill but Emma turned away. When a few girl fans diverted Charlie’s attention, though, Emma started stroking his backside to get his attention.

“Charlie then dragged her away from the crowd and stopped her in the stairwell

and asked her, ‘Why are you still going out with Matt?’ ”

Hang on, Charlie, I thought you two were supposed to be mates? Emma shrugged and after a few moments they went back to join pals. Emma then dragged him off to lie on a couch, while Charlie groped her bum and she nuzzled his neck.

One onlooker said: “It was like they didn’t care who saw them flirting.

“At one point they kissed briefly on the lips but then spent the whole night stroking each other and whispering provocatively.”

I’m sure they both woke up nursing the mother of all hangovers yesterday and wishing they’d stayed off the grog.

One thing’s for certain — they will need to be razor sharp to explain to their other halves what was going on.
