The Office: An American Workplace is my new favourite TV show and the second season comes to UK screens this Sunday at 10:40pm on ITV2...

You have to watch it; it's less cringe-making than the brilliant British series but with more out-loud belly laughs.

Steve Carell brilliantly plays the Ricky Gervais character; Michael Scott, and kills every episode.

His character is more sympathetic than the Brit original, and the Tim and Dawn relationship is beautifully echoed by standout supporting characters Jim and Pam.
